The standing roll downs or “the melt down” can be used to access posture. Check one vertebrae at a time, use your fingers to walk down the spine. The knees can soften to take the pressure off the lower back. Make sure the knees track over the toes. The head nods to start. Is one shoulder higher than the ther? Does one side of the rib cage protrude morethan the other? Does the torso drift off to one side? Does the spine re-stack smoothly? After returning to the start position, can you rise up to the balls of the feet?
